Traditional Hand Block Tribal Motif Prints Sousar Silk Saree SKU-SSTP-1101

It's not often one hears clothes narrating their stories. But with ASHA, it's different. Working closely with indigenous women and traditions, ASHA has raised it's bar with every design. Here's presenting a Sousar silk saree with traditional handwoven silk by cotton fabric from the Gondwana region. The saree features traditional tribal tattoos from the Gondwana region and the hand block printing is done by the rural indigenous women associated with ASHA. In these myriad ways, by reviving block printing and promoting local weavers and artisans, ASHA voices ” Vocal for local” with each of its works.
